We first became acquainted with Jake when he built and installed all the cabinets in our new home in 2007. I remember Colleen being concerned that the bead board finish wouldn’t turn out exactly as she wanted it but when Jake showed her the sample he had done, she was pleased. We showed him pictures of a newel post that resembled a light house and he built two for our stairs that were a much improved look over the pictured one. All the cabinets turned out looking wonderful and are of exceptional quality. When we recently wanted a cabinet built that would resemble a hutch we had in our other home there was no looking around, we went to see Jake. It is finished, installed and exactly what we envisioned. Jake works with the customer with patience and empathy and in a suggestive and creative manner. And, a major benefit of working with Jake’s is the quality of the work the employees produce. The shop employees build a high quality product. The installers take great care to work with the customer and accommodate them in any way they can and they keep the work space clean as they go then do a final cleanup when finished and leave with everything looking great. We appreciated the attention to detail, and they wouldn’t leave until we had no concerns and all questions were answered. We have recommended Jake’s to people verbally, it is nice to have the opportunity to do so in writing. These are good people who do excellent work (they don’t over promise but do over perform) at a fair price. We wouldn’t think about going anywhere else.
